The Analysis and Comparison of the South Bohemian and the South Moravian Region in Terms of Cycle Touring

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá analýzou a komparací Jihočeského a Jihomoravského kraje z pohledu cykloturistiky, s cílem rozhodnout, který z těchto krajů má pro cykloturistiky větší potenciál a lepší předpoklady. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř kapitol. V první kapitole je definován termín cykloturistika, druhy cykloturistiky, typy cyklistů a je zde popsán současný stav cykloturistiky v České republice. Druhá kapitola charakterizuje Jihočeský a Jihomoravský kraj a analyzuje jejich stav cykloturistiky v kraji a atraktivity cestovního ruchu. Třetí část práce je založena na komparaci krajů s pomocí vybraných indikátorů ovlivňující cykloturistiku. Poslední kapitola se věnuje diskuzi a vyhodnocení všech komparací provedených ve třetí kapitole a je zde vyjádřeno rozhodnutí, který z krajů je pro cykloturistiku vhodnější.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with analysis and comparison of the South Bohemian and the South Moravian region in terms of cycle touring. The aim of the thesis is to decide which region has bigger potential and better conditions for the cycle touring. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The term of the cycle touring, kinds of cycle touring, types of cyclists and the present conditions of the cycle touring in the Czech Republic are described in the first chapter. The second chapter presents the South Bohemian and the South Moravian region and analyzes the conditions of the cycle touring and tourist attractions in the regions. The third chapter compares important indicators for the cycle touring between these two regions. Discussing and evaluation of the comparisons done in the previous chapter are covered in the last chapter of the thesis. The chapter also include the decision which region is more suitable for the cycle touring.
