Abstract:

Táto práca sa zameriava na monitorovanie stavu zdrojov spravovaných správcom zdrojov vysoko dostupného klastra Pacemaker. Cieľom tejto práce je vytvoriť nové rozhranie na monitorovanie stavu zdrojov pre nástroj PCS, ktorý sa používa na konfiguráciu klastrov Pacemaker. Zdroje spravované Pacemakerom sú analyzované s dôrazom na reprezentáciu ich stavu. Nové rozhranie na monitorovanie stavu zdrojov je navrhnuté, implementované a otestované. Výsledkom tejto práce je súbor nových dátových štruktúr na ukladanie reprezentácie stavu zdrojov, ktoré sú sprístupnené prostredníctvom rozhrania REST API nástroja PCS. Používatelia môžu používať sadu nových príkazov, ktoré im umožňujú monitorovať stav zdrojov z príkazového riadku.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on monitoring the status of resources managed by the Pacemaker high-availability cluster resource manager. The aim of this thesis is to create a new interface for resource status monitoring for the PCS, which is used to configure Pacemaker clusters. Resources managed by Pacemaker are analyzed, with an emphasis on the representation of their status. A new interface for resource status monitoring is designed, implemented, and tested. The result of this thesis is a set of new data structures for storing the representation of the status of the resources, which are made accessible through PCS's REST API. Users can use a set of new commands that allow them to monitor the status of the resources from the command line.
