Architecture and urbanism of city Vítkov

Abstract:

Tématem práce je architektura a stavební vývoj města Vítkov. Problematika je zpracována v rámci souvislosti na historický vývoj. V úvodní části je čtenáři přiblížena samotná lokalita, cíle práce, ale také je v ní rozebrána odborná literatura a archivní prameny, které byly hlavním zdrojem informací pro vznik této práce. Kapitola popisující společenský a dobový vývoj představuje historii města a vysvětluje okolnosti, které předcházely a ovlivnily stavební vývoj v celé oblasti. Následná kapitola se věnuje stavebnímu vývoji. Přibližuje historické stavební rozložení, které také definuje. Hlavní kapitola celé práce obsahuje soupis historicky a architektonicky nejvýznamnějších veřejných, sakrálních, průmyslových nebo soukromých staveb. Každé z odvětví je blíže popisováno v úvodu podkapitol. Samotné objekty jsou poté popisovány z hlediska jejich historie a stavebního vývoje. Zároveň je každá budova samostatně architektonicky popsána. Součástí práce je obrazový materiál a seznam literatury.

Abstract:

The topic of the Master's thesis is the architecture and construction development of city Vítkov. The studied matter is processed in the context of historical development. In the introductory part, a reader is introduced to the location itself and the goals of the work. Also discusses professional literature and archival sources which were the main source of information for the creation of this work. The chapter describing the social and period development presents the history of the city and explain the circumstance that have preceded and influenced the construction development in the entire area. The following chapter is devoted to construction development itself. It approximates the historical building layout which it also defines. The main chapter of the entire work contains an inventory of the most historically and architecturally significant public, religious, industrial and private building. Each of the line is described in more detail in the introduction of the subsections. The buildings themselves are then described in terms of their history and construction development. At the same time, each of the building is architecturally described. Thesis also contain visual materials and a list of used literature and archival sources.
