The Geographical Analysis of tourism in the Usti Region

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na geografickou analýzu cestovního ruchu v Ústeckém kraji. Hlavním cílem práce je zhodnocení prostorového rozmístění rekreačních aktivit podle koncentrace ubytovacích kapacit v Ústeckém kraji. Teoretická část práce je zaměřena na lokalizační faktory cestovního ruchu, a to přírodní a kulturně-historické předpoklady. Data o ubytovacích kapacitách v Ústeckém kraji pocházejí ze dvou zdrojů. Prvním zdrojem je Český statistický úřad a druhým zdrojem je vlastní vytvořená databáze ubytovacího zařízení v Ústeckém kraji. Následně došlo ke zpracování komparace obou databázích. Ze zjištěných dat je možné říci, že Ústecký kraj se řadí mezi ty méně atraktivní kraje v rámci České republiky. Nejvíce ubytovacích zařízení se nachází v oblastech, kde je vyšší koncentrace přírodních a kulturně-historických atraktivit. Nejvíce turistickou oblastí Ústeckého kraje je oblast Děčínska.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the geographical analysis of tourism in the Ústí region. The main goal of the work is to evaluate the spatial distribution of recreational activities according to the concentration of accommodation capacities in the Ústí nad Labem Region. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on localization factors of tourism, namely natural and cultural-historical assumptions. Data on accommodation capacities in the Ústí nad Labem Region come from two sources. The first source is the Czech Statistical Office and the second source is the own database of accommodation in the Ústí nad Labem Region. Subsequently, the comparison of both databases was processed. From the data found, it can be said that the Ústí region ranks among the less attractive regions within the Czech Republic. Most accommodation facilities are located in areas where there is a higher concentration of natural and cultural and historical attractions. The most touristy area of the Ústí region is the Děčín region.
