Exploring the potential of eSports development

Abstract:

Tématem této diplomové práce je "Studie potenciálu rozvoje eSportu". V rámci uvedené práce se autor zabývá otázkami vzniku a rozvoje eSportu ve světě. Pojem eSport, jeho vlastnosti, jsou popsány oblasti života, které jsou ovlivněny tímto sportem. Dále jsou analyzovány sociální, technické a ekonomické trendy v této oblasti. Úkolem je zkoumat a upřesňovat teoretické a praktické ustanovení o ekonomické podstatě a obsahu eSportu. Autor systematizuje zahraniční a ruské zkušenosti v této oblasti a také hodnotí možnosti samostatně výdělečně činných podnikatelů v této formě činnosti. Na základě zadaného úkolu se v diplomové práci důsledně zabývala řada otázek, například historie vývoje kybernetického sportu ve světě a zejména v Rusku. Zde je přehled nejpopulárnějších her - eSportu objektů. Uvádí se také největší světové kybernetické aktivity, které hodnotí jejich ekonomickou složku. Samostatná část práce je věnována řízení a marketingu v oblasti eSportu. Autor identifikoval hlavní problémy ve vývoji eSportu v Rusku, navrhl možné způsoby jejich řešení.

Abstract:

The topic of this thesis is "Studying the potential of esports development". Within the framework of this work, the author examines the issues of the formation and development of esports in the world. The concept of esports, its features, and the spheres of life affected by this sport are described. In addition, social, technical and economic trends in this area are analyzed. The task is to study and clarify the theoretical and practical provisions on the economic nature and content of esports. The author systematizes foreign and Russian experience in this field, and also evaluates the capabilities of an individual entrepreneur in this type of activity. Based on the task, the thesis consistently considers a number of issues, such as the history of the development of esports in the world and, in particular, in Russia. An overview of the most popular esports object games is provided. The world's largest esports events are also listed, and their economic component is evaluated. A separate part of the work is devoted to management and marketing in esports. The author identifies the main problems in the development of esports in Russia, and suggests possible ways to solve them.
