Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou závislosti na počítačových hrách. Pozornost je věnována především online hrám pro více hráčů - MMORPG (Massive(ly)-Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) a závislosti na MMORPG. Hlavním cílem práce je prozkoumat příznaky závislostního chování. Dalším cílem práce je analyzovat údaje o vlivu počítačových her na psychické a fyzické zdraví člověka.Bakalářská práce je rozdělená na dva velké oddíly, na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsem se zaměřila na definování a popsání základních pojmů spojených s online hrami, popisuji možnosti diagnostikování závislosti na online hrách a rozebírám různé úhly pohledu na ovlivňování člověka MMORPG hrou, a to jak z hlediska kladného, tak i záporného. V teoretické části docházím k závěru, že hraní MMORPG je jednou z nejnávykovějších aktivit na internetu a je hlavní příčinou závislostí ve virtuálním prostředí.V praktické části ověřuji popsané v teoretickí části údaje o vlivu počítačových her na zdraví člověka pomoci výzkumného šetření a stanovení výzkumných otázek. Cílem výzkumu je zjistit a popsat jednotlivé typy důsledků hraní MMORPG u hráčů a analyzovat jejich možné vztahy k herní závislosti, a určíme také jejich vztah k těmto hrám. Zpracované výsledky formulujeme v souhrnu výsledků. V závěru práce hodnotíme vztah k mmorpg za velice kladný, až mírně patologický.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the problem of computer game addiction. Attention is given especially to online games for more players – MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Games) and to MMORPG addiction. The main objective of the thesis is to examine the symptoms of addictive behaviour. A secondary objective of the thesis is to analyse the data of the impact of computer games on the psychical and physical health of people.The bachelor thesis is divided into two large sections; the theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part, I focus on defining and describing the basic concepts related to online games, I describe the possibilities of diagnosing addiction on online games and discuss different angles of view in terms of how a player can be influenced when playing a MMORPG game, both positively and negatively. I conclude the theoretical part with a statement, that playing MMORPG is one of the most addictive activities on the Internet and generally the main cause of addictions in the virtual environment.In the practical part, I verify the data on the impact of computer games on human health, outlined in the theoretical part of the thesis, using research investigation and set research questions. The objective of the research is to specify and describe individual types of impacts of MMORPG on players, to analyse what the players themselves think of the risk of game addiction, as well as to determine their attitudes to these games. The processed outcomes are formulated in the summary of the results. In the conclusion of the thesis, the attitude to MMORPG is evaluated as very positive, even slightly pathological.
