Abstract:

Moje bakalářská diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku informační exkluze seniorů v České republice po roce 1989. Cílem mé práce je vymezit základní pojmy digitální doba, informační společnost a informační exkluze, analyzovat vliv informační společnosti na seniory v České republice v období od roku 1989 až po současnost, příčiny a důsledky informační exkluze seniorů a popsat možnosti minimalizace informační exkluze seniorů v naší společnosti. Uvedeným tématem se zabývám především z důvodu jeho dlouhodobé aktuálnosti a důležitosti pro naši společnost. Práce obsahuje sjednocené poznatky autorů odborných textů, mých vlastních názorů a zkušeností. Je v ní vyjádřena problematika informační exkluze seniorů v České republice, její příčiny, důsledky a možnosti jejího odstranění. Časové ohraničení po roce 1989 je v práci klíčové pro označení rychlého rozvoje naší informační společnosti. Mezi nejdůležitější poznatky, které vyplývají z mé práce, patří fakt, že přes vysoké procento informační exkluze seniorů, dochází k jejich neustálému zapojování do informační společnosti a tím i ke snížení jejího rozsahu v České republice a že zapojení se do informační společnosti pro seniory neznamená pouze dovednost s informačními technologiemi pracovat, ale umět informace, které jim tyto technologie poskytují zpracovávat a používat. Je důležité mít na paměti, že i přes předpoklad toho, že všichni senioři budou práci s informačními technologiemi v budoucnu ovládat, vývoj informačních technologií jde neustále dopředu a určité procento informační exkluze bude vždy existovat. Moji práci si doporučuji přečíst všem, které tato problematika zajímá, ale hlavně seniorům, kterých se konkrétně týká.

Abstract:

My bachelor diploma work is focused on the topic of information exclusion of seniors in the Czech Republic after 1989. The aim of my work is to define the basic terms digital time, information society and digital divide (information exclusion) and analyse the influence of the information society on seniors in the Czech Republic from 1989 until present, reasons and consequences of the information exclusion of seniors. Possibilities of elimination of the information exclusion of seniors in the Czech society are described too. This work includes information from other professional authors and my own opinions and experience with this topic. I describe general problems of the information exclusion of seniors in the Czech Republic, the reasons, consequences and possibilities of its elimination. The year 1989 is pivotal for the definition of the information society in the Czech Republic and its fast progress. The most important conclusions of this work are these facts: Despite of the high percentage of seniors suffering from the information exclusion in the Czech Republic, a lot of seniors try to participate in the information society and it contributes to the elimination of the information exclusion of seniors. The necessity of not only being able to work with information technologies but also to process and use new information is also of high importance. The information technologies are still in progress therefore the topic of the information exclusion will remain current. I recommend this work to all people, who are interested in this topic but mainly to seniors, who are the target group of this work.
