Development of road administration in the Litomerice district since 1945

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je rozbor historického vývoje správy silnic v kontextu poskytování této veřejné služby v okrese Litoměřice od roku 1945 po současnost, a také zjištění, jak je činnost správy silnic vnímána veřejností, a to například prostřednictvím dobových médií.Zpracován je průřez vývoje správy silnic, vývoj dopravních systémů i infrastruktury. Představena je náplň práce instituce správy silnic, i náplň práce jednotlivých pracovníků, kteří zajišťují letní i zimní údržbu silnic. Zpracováno je schéma zajištění zimní údržby komunikací, i historický obraz na příkladu rekonstruované komunikace, u které se dochovala téměř kompletní složka i současný model rekonstrukce komunikace.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to analyze historical development of road management in the context of providing this public service in Litoměřice area since 1945 and further to find out how the road management is perceived by the public, for example through mass media. In this thesis, a cross-section of the development of road managment, transport systems and infrastructure is discussed. It presents work of road administration institution as well as work of individual workers who provide summer and winter road maintenance. There is a scheme for ensuring winter road maintenance and a historical view on the example of reconstructed road, where the almost complete component and the current model of road reconstruction have been preserved. Elaboration of these chapters aimed to clarify the difficulty of preparation and ensurement of the roadworthiness of roads in terms of periodic maintenance or construction and reconstruction.
