Principles of nature conservation and their implementation in law

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na principy ochrany životního prostředí. Jsou zde popsány definice principů ochrany životního prostředí. Tyto principy byly sepsány ve Stockholmské Deklaraci o životním prostředí v roce 1972. OSN chtěla pomocí těchto pravidel zabránit další devastaci životního prostředí a ekologickým katastrofám. Další část diplomové práce je věnována vzniku právních předpisů a norem, právu životního prostředí, které vyplývají z principů ochrany životního prostředí a ostatním nástrojům vyplývajícím z principů. Jde především o ekonomické nástroje, informační, vzdělávací a osvětové a v nemalé míře také vědecké a výzkumné nástroje. Poslední část je zdůrazňuje některé možné střety principů ochrany životního prostředí a navrhuje jejich možná řešení.

Abstract:

This diploma work concentrates on the principles of environmental protection. This thesis suggests the definition of the principle of environmental protection. These principles have been drawn up in Report of the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment, Stockholm, 1972. The UN wanted to use these rules to prevent further devastation of the environment and the environmental disasters. The next part of the thesis describes making of legislation and standards, including the environmental law, consequent from the principles of environmental protection. Other instruments resulting from the principles are devoted to the next part of this thesis. There are primarily the economic instruments, the information, the education and awareness-training, the scientific and research instruments. The last part highlights some possible conflicts of the principles of environmental protection, and suggests possible solutions.
