The sound of today´s multicultural English with the focus on Indian English
Abstract:
The work provides an analysis of the status of the English language around the world. Furthermore, it deals with varieties of English and focuses on Indian English. It also examines Indian English from the viewpoint of its historical background, phonology, vocabulary and grammar.
Abstract:
Práce poskytuje analýzu postavení anglického jazyka ve světě. Dále pojednává o druzích anglického jazyka a zaměřuje se na Indickou angličtinu. Rovněž zkoumá Indickou angličtinu z hlediska jejího historického pozadí, fonologie, slovní zásoby a gramatiky.
