Abstract:

Má práce se zabývá tematikou zachycení derivátových operací v účetnictví a daních podnikatelských subjektů. Pro správné pochopení účtování těchto instrumentů popisuji v její teoretické části jejich základní charakteristiku, možné členění a využití, jejich vývoj od historie po současnost společně se základními terminologiemi finančního trhu. V praktické části se pak věnuji legislativnímu vymezení finančních derivátů, principům vedení zajišťovacího účetnictví a způsobu zaúčtování nejběžnějších typů těchto kontraktů demonstrované na konkrétních jednoduchých příkladech. V závěru praktické části uvádím daňové dopady vyplývající z těchto kontraktů.

Abstract:

My thesis deals with the topic of capturing derivative transactions in accounting and taxes of business subjects. For the correct understanding of the accounting of these instruments I describe in its theoretical part their basic characteristics, their possible division and utilization, their development from the history to the present together with the basic terminology of the financial market. In the practical part, I deal with the legislative definition of financial derivatives, the principles of the keeping of the hedge accounting and the method of accounting for the most common types of these contracts, demonstrated on concrete simple examples. At the end of the practical part, I am referring to the tax implications of these contracts.
