Comparison of different financing methods of a specific company or a specific investment - A case study

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma Srovnání možných způsobů financování konkrétního podniku či konkrétní investice – případová studie, se zabývá výběrem nejvhodnějšího způsobu financování vybrané investice pro konkrétní podnik. V teoretické části je uvedeno dělení majetkové struktury podniku a jsou popsány všechny možnosti a způsoby získávání kapitálu a také jeho následné podrobnější dělení. Poté je v teoretické části vymezeno, co je optimální kapitálová struktura, cena kapitálu a samotné finanční rozhodování a jeho fáze a pravidla. Okrajová část teoretické části bakalářské práce je také věnována seznámení s finanční analýzou, se zaměřením popisu na její dva základní typy – horizontální a vertikální analýzu. Analytická část bakalářské práce se následně zabývá financováním konkrétní investice, a to vybraného užitkového automobilu do společnosti s ručením omezeným. Výběr a srovnání možných způsobů financování je převážně zaměřeno na získání kapitálu pro tuto společnost z cizích zdrojů. Následně se analytická část věnuje popisu a komparaci všech získaných nabídek úvěru a operativního leasingu od různých finančních institucí. Po zhodnocení a propočtech všech nabídek a doplnění potřebných dodatečných kalkulací, je pro společnost s ručením omezeným vybrána a doporučena nejvhodnější možnost financování investice. Pro získání ucelenějších informací a podporu tvrzení úspěšnosti uvedené společnosti, je na začátku analytické části práce, zařazena horizontální a vertikální analýza účetních výkazů této společnosti. V přílohách je bakalářská práce doplněna přehledy splátkových kalendářů pro jednotlivé získané nabídky financování investice a následně také vertikální analýzou rozvahy (za sledované období let 2020 – 2022) a vertikální analýzou výkazu zisku a ztráty, za stejné období společnosti HM – SMART, s. r. o.

Abstract:

The Bachelor‘s Dissertation on the topic of Comparison of possible ways of financing a specific company or specific investment - a case study, deals with the selection of the most suitable way of financing a chosen investment for a specific company. The theoretical part includes the division of the company's asset structure and describes all possibilities and methods of raising capital and its subsequent detailed division. Then, the theoretical part defines what the optimal capital structure, cost of capital, and financial decision-making and its phases and rules are. The marginal part of the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is also dedicated to introducing financial analysis, focusing on describing its two basic types - horizontal and vertical analysis. The analytical part of the bachelor thesis subsequently focuses on financing a specific investment, namely a selected utility vehicle for a limited liability company. The selection and comparison of possible ways of financing are mainly focused on obtaining capital for this company from external sources. Subsequently, the analytical part describes and compares all received offers for loans and operational leasing from various financial institutions. After evaluating and calculating all offers and adding necessary additional calculations, the most suitable financing option for the limited liability company is selected and recommended. To obtain more comprehensive information and support the claim of the success of the mentioned company, horizontal and vertical analysis of the financial statements of this company is included at the beginning of the analytical part of the thesis. In the appendices, the bachelor thesis is supplemented with repayment schedules for each obtained financing offer and then also with a vertical analysis of the balance sheet (for the period of 2020 - 2022) and a vertical analysis of the income statement for the same period of the company HM - SMART, Ltd.
