Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice dlouhodobé péče a jejího financování v Německu a České republice. Jejím cílem je na základě porovnání těchto dvou odlišných systémů zhodnotit, zda by veřejné pojištění dlouhodobé péče fungující v Německu mohlo být aplikováno také v podmínkách České republiky. První část představuje základní pojmy a obecný kontext financování dlouhodobé péče s ohledem na aktuální fenomény (např. stárnutí populace, sociální změny), které pravděpodobně budou mít zásadní vliv na vývoj této oblasti v budoucnosti. Druhá část popisuje současné systémy dlouhodobé péče v Německu a České republice. Ve třetí části je provedeno závěrečné porovnání německého a českého systému a nastíněno eventuální zavedení veřejného pojištění dlouhodobé péče v České republice.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the issue of long-term care and its financing in Germany, and the Czech Republic. Its aim is to evaluate whether public long-term care insurance existing in Germany could also be applied in the conditions of the Czech Republic, based on a comparison of these two different systems. The first part of the thesis introduces the basic terms and general context of financing long-term care in developed countries with regard to contemporary phenomena (e.g. population ageing, social changes) that are likely to have a major impact on the development of this area in the future. The second part describes current systems of long-term care in Germany and the Czech Republic. In the third part, a final comparison of the German and Czech systems is carried out and the possibility of the introduction of public long-term care insurance in the Czech Republic is outlined.
