Effects of xenobiotics on steroidogenesis
Abstract:
Tato práce shrnuje poznatky o kontaminantech životního prostředí, které mají potenciál ovlivnit syntézu steroidních hormonů a tím zasáhnout do přirozeného stavu organismu. Dále se tato práce zabývá jedním z modelů pro sledování účinků těchto látek, buněčnou linií lidského embryonálního karcinomu kůry nadledvin H295R, které se věnuje také v praktické části.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis summarizes findings on environmental pollutants with ability to influence the steroid hormone biosynthesis pathway and this way change the natural state of organism. Furthermore it focuses on a model for research of influence of these chemicals, human H295R adrenocarcinoma cell line, which has been used also in the practical section of the thesis.
