Activities of a Tourist Information Centres at Cieszyn Silesia Region

Abstract:

The aim of this Bachelor?s thesis is to describe the scope of information centers in the Cieszyn Silesia region. In the first part of this work we will refer to the history of Cieszyn Silesia and the historical roots of coexistence of Poles and Czechs in the region as a whole. Subsequently, we will describe the very beginning of the formation and operation of the information tourist centres as well as their characteristics. In the thesis the thumbnail indicators used by the information centres are shown along with Czech-Polish touristic terms. In the conclusion of this work there is a summary of the significance of the establishment of tourist information centres, their scope and the consecutive development or creation of new ones.

Abstract:

Cílem této bakalářské práce je přiblížit působnost informačních center v regionu Těšínského Slezska. V první části této práce je poukázáno na historii Těšínského Slezska a na historické kořeny soužití Poláků a Čechů v tomto regionu jako celku. Následně je zařazen popis prvopočátků vzniku a působení turistických iformačních center, a jejich charakteristika. V práci jsou rovněž použity náhledy ukazatelů informačních center, česko-polské pojmy z oblasti turismu. V závěru této práce je shrnut smysl založení turistických informačních center, jejich působnost a následný rozvoj, popřípadě zakládání nových.
