Comparison of credit risk views

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce na téma „Komparace pohledů na úvěrové riziko“ má za cíl dokumentovat variabilitu různých pohledů na úvěrové riziko. V prvních kapitolách práce uvádí do tématu úvěrového rizika pomocí jeho vysvětlení, členění, výpočtu kapitálového požadavku stanoveným dohledem a vysvětlením jednotlivých metod měření a řízení tohoto rizika. V závěrečné části demonstruje pomocí komparativní analýzy na případových studiích a příkladech z praxe odlišný pohled na úvěrové riziko - v různých bankách v jeden čas, ve stejné bance v různých obdobích, banky a klienta v totožný čas, jedné banky před a po naplnění limitů úvěrové angažovanosti a banky po změně obchodní politiky. Vnímání rizika a jeho analýza závisí na mnoha faktorech, které se v čase mění a mohou diametrálně měnit pohled jak na úvěrové riziko obecně, tak i na zcela totožnou situaci u konkrétního obchodního případu klienta.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis "Comparison of credit risk views" aims to document the variability of different views on credit risk. In the first chapters, thesis introduces the topic of credit risk by explaining, structuring, calculating the capital requirement by supervising and explaining the individual methods of measuring and managing this risk. In the final part, a comparative analysis of case studies and examples from practice shows different view of credit risk - in different banks at one time, in the same bank at different times, view of the bank and the client at the same time, the bank before and after the limits of credit exposure and the bank after a change in the business policy. Risk perception and its analysis depend on many factors that change over time and can change the view of the credit risk in general, even the totally identical situation of a particular business case of the client.
