Abstract:

Bakalářská práce „Matematická analýza v aplikacích“ pojednává o využití matematické analýzy v praxi. Cílem této práce je seznámit studenty s využitím matematiky v životě a motivovat je ke studiu matematiky. Bakalářská práce v úvodu krátce zmiňuje historii a vznik matematické analýzy, se zaměřením na extremální úlohy. Hlavní část práce se věnuje konkrétním příkladům, na kterých ukazuje využití matematické analýzy. První příklad pojednává o vzniku duhy a uspořádání jejich barev. Na druhém příkladě ukazuje využití matematiky při výrobě plechovek s nejnižšími náklady. V další části se zabývá problémem, jak si vybrat místo k sezení v kině s největším zorným úhlem na plátno a poslední část se věnuje výpočtu vhodné vzdálenosti od letiště, kdy by měl pilot začít klesat při přistání letadla.

Abstract:

Bachelor thesis "Mathematical analysis in applications," discusses the use of mathematical analysis in practice. The aim of this work is to familiarize students with the use of mathematics in real life and to motivate them to study mathematics. Bachelor thesis in the introduction briefly mentions the history and formation of mathematical analysis, focusing on extremal problems. The main part is divided to specific examples, which illustrate the use of mathematical analysis in practice. The first example deals with the emergence of the rainbow and the arrangement of the colours. The second example shows the use of mathematics in the production of cans with respect to the lowest cost. The next section deals with the problem of how to choose a best place to sit in the cinema with the largest viewing angle of the screen. Last part of the thesis is devoted to the calculation of an appropriate distance from the airport, where pilot should start to decline during landing.
