The Czech Republic and the issue of illegal migration, its causes and the related criminality

Abstract:

Práce se věnuje fenoménu nelegální migrace ve vztahu k České republice a trestné činnosti na tuto migraci navazující. Snaží se srovnávat a pochopit důvody běženců, analyzovat situaci do jaké se dostávají nelegální migrací a a popsat její právní aspekty. Výzkumná část práce je věnována konkrétní situaci na Ukrajině a možnosti výměny zkušeností mezi Českou republikou a Ukrajinou, zejména v oblasti organizovaného zločinu. V závěru práce je pak konkrétní popis a statistika kriminality cizinců na ůzemí České republiky za rok 2005.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the phenomenon of illegal migration with regards to the Czech republic and crimes related to such migration. We have tried to compare and understand the reasons of refugees, to analyze the situation which these refugees find themselves in due to illegal migration, and to describe its legal aspects. The research part of the thesis is devoted to the specific situation in Ukraine and possibilities to exchange experience between the Czech republic and Ukraine, especially in the area of organized crime. In the final part of the thesis, there is a concrete description and the statiscics of criminal acts committed by foreiger on the trritory of the Czech republic during 2005.
