Abstract:
Cílem práce je seznámení s nukleárním transkripčním faktorem Nrf2, jeho strukturou a funkcí v organismu. Práce popisuje vznik oxidačního stresu působícího na organismus a jeho souvislost s rozvojem onemocnění kardiovaskulárního systému jako jsou ateroskleróza, či onemocnění srdce v souvislosti s diabetem. Poukazuje na souvislost těchto onemocnění s Nrf2 a zabývá se možností jeho využití v terapii. …more

Purpose of this work is basic description of the Nuclear transription factor Nrf2, its structure and function. Bachelor thesis describes the origin of oxidative stress and its effect on human organism. It focuses on the connection between oxidative stress and cardiovascular diseases, such as atherosclerosis and diabetes induced heart disease.
