Approaches towards Sports Training in Denmark and the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou přístupu k profesionálnímu badmintonovému tréninku v České republice a Dánsku. Práce představuje historické události, které měly vliv na vývoj sportu a jak tyto události ovlivnily výkon těchto států. Práce se dále věnuje způsobu, jakým je badminton ve zmíněných zemích podporován ze strany svazu a státu. Na základě odpovědí na položené otázky, porovnává informace o přístupu hráčů a trenérů na příkladech získaných z praxe. Závěr práce hodnotí vybrané faktory a definuje, v čem se jednotlivé země v přístupu k badmintonu liší, a jakým způsobem mohou ovlivňovat celkový výkon hráče.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the issue of the approach to professional badminton training in the Czech Republic and Denmark. The thesis presents historical events that have influenced the development of the sport and how these events have affected the performance of these countries. The thesis also looks at the way badminton is sup-ported by the federation and the state in the mentioned countries. Based on the answers to the questions posed, it compares information on the approach of players and coaches with examples obtained from practice. The thesis concludes by evaluat-ing the selected factors and defining how each country differs in its approach to badminton and how they may affect the overall performance of the player.
