This thesis treats terminology in the computer science. The objective is an analysis of metaphors, which are important source of terminological denomination. Diplomová práca sa zaoberá problematikou terminológie v oblasti informatiky. Hlavným cieľom je analýza metafor, ktoré sa v tejto vede vyskytujú ako významný zdroj terminologického pomenovania.
