Crisis management in companies and its resolutions

Abstract:

Práce analyzuje a popisuje krizové řízení a řešení krizí v podnicích, jejich aspekty a jeho implementaci do podnikového managementu. Zkoumán je proces řízení rizik v rámci krize a zmapován vliv okolí na podnik, jako jeden z parametrů ovlivňujících přímo nebo nepřímo chod podniku. Je podána stručná analýza vzniku a aktuálnosti krizového managementu. V rámci rozboru řešení akutní krize se objasňuje důležitost včasného odhalení a identifikace krize, různých přístupů ke krizovému řízení a tvor-ba krizových plánů a scénářů. Středem zájmu je krizové řízení finančních toků, zejména pak plánování cash flow, zásob a pracovního kapitálu a nemenší pozornost bude věnována řízení závazků a pohledávek. Navržen je proces implementace koncepce včasného varování v podni-ku a důležitost vnější a vnitřní krizové komunikace. Praktická část obsahuje analýzu krizového řízení zkoumaného reálného podniku. Je představen předkrizový stav podniku, následně proveden rozbor krizových jevů v obchodu, který byl nejvíc zasažen krizovými parametry. Velká pozornost je věno-vána analýze krizového řízení financí a rizik, včetně návrhů ozdravných opatření, návrhy krizového plánu, po krizové strategie a cílů. Finální úvaha definuje možnosti předcházení krizí v podniku a příležitosti imple-mentace koncepce včasného varování podniku již v rámci plánu před zahájením podnikání. Akcentována je důležitost připravenosti manažerů na krizi v podniku v procesu předcházení změn ve firemní kultuře a komunikaci v rámci krizového řízení.

Abstract:

This thesis describes and analyzes crisis management and crisis solutions in enter-prises, their aspects and its implementation in enterprise management. Approached the process of risk management in the crisis and the effect of the enterprise envi-ronment, as one of the parameters that affect directly or indirectly the business. Performed a brief analysis of timeliness and crisis management. Within analysis of the solution to the acute crisis reminds the importance of early detection and identification of crises, different approaches to crisis management and importance to develop a crisis plan and crisis scenarios. The focus of the crisis management is on financial flows; particularly cash flow planning, working capital planning, and attention will be turning to the management of payables and receivables as well. Outlines the process of implementing the concept of early warning systems in the enterprise and the importance of internal and external crisis communication. In the practical part, the reader will be aware with the analysis of the crisis management of the studied business practice. Will be introduced to pre-crisis situation of the company and subsequently analyzed crisis phenomena in the trade, which was most affected by the crisis parameters. Great attention will be paid to the analysis of crisis management and financial risks. To reader will be proposed scheme of curative measures, suggestions of crisis plan, post-crisis strategy and objectives. Finally attention will be paid to the current reality in the analyzed company. The final consideration defines the possibilities of preventing crises in business and implementation of the concept of early warning undertaking is already under a plan before starting a business. Highlighted is the importance of managers’ preparedness for crisis in the company in the process of preventing changes in corporate culture and communication during the crisis management.
