This thesis is dedicated to high power impulse magnetron sputtering. First part is concerned with physical priciples of magnetron sputtering, magnetic field of magnetron, techniques of formation ions of sputtered particles ana spectrums of atoms. Táto bakalárska práca sa venuje magnetrónovému naprašovaniu budenému pulzmi veľkého výkonu. Prvá časť sa zaoberá fyzikálnymi princípmi magnetrónového naprašovania, magnetickým poľom magnetrónu, metódami vzniku iónov z rozprášených častíc a spektrami atómov.
