Price developments and foreign trade of commodity wheat

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá formováním cen a zahraničního obchodu v rámci komoditní vertikály pšenice. Popisuje předpoklady a podmínky fungování komoditní vertikály pšenice a zahraničního obchodu s ní spojeného. Teoretická část vymezuje obecné přístupy zahraničního obchodu a nástrojů, které ho spolu s agrobyznysem ovlivňují. Dále tato část popisuje základní principy komoditní vertikály pšenice spolu s jejími biologickými znaky. Druhá, tedy analytická část, analyzuje vývoj zahraničního obchodu s hlavními obchodními partnery na základě zpracovaných statistických dat. Pomocí zjištěných poznatků tato část dále analyzuje tvorbu cenové hladiny v této vertikále.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the formation of prices and foreign trade within the commodity chain of wheat. It describes the conditions and assumptions of the commodity vertical and foreign trade functioning. The theoretical part defines the general approaches of foreign trade and tools that affects it together with agribusiness. Furthermore, this part describes the basic principles of the commodity chain of wheat together with its biological features. The analytical part analyses the development of foreign trade with its main trading partners on the basis of processed statistical data. Using the findings, this section further analyses the formation of the price level in this vertical.
