Cílem této práce je posoudit, jakou roli sehrála Alžbětinská tajná služba v procesu odhalování spiknutí proti královně Alžbětě I a nastínit jaké funkce tato výzvědná služba měla, jaké byly její mechanismy a organizace. The aim of this thesis is to examine the role the Elizabethan secret service played in revealing plots against Queen Elizabeth I and outline functions, mechanics and organisation of this intelligence network. The thesis deals with leaders of the Elizabethan secret service, with people working for them and with techniques they used.
