Motivating of employees at a chosen company

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou motivace zaměstnanců. První tři kapitoly charakterizují fenomén motivace, její význam pro pracovní výkon a přístup k motivaci v pracovní oblasti. Uvedeny jsou možnosti motivování zaměstnanců, důraz je kladen na odměny, zejména benefity. V praktické části je popsán kvantitativní průzkum realizovaný ve firmě Infosys, jehož cílem bylo zjistit, jaké faktory jsou pro zaměstnance v souvislosti s výkonem jejich pracovní pozice nejvíce motivující, se zřetelem k systému benefitů ve firmě. Dílčím cílem bylo zjistit, jak pracovníci vybrané firmy hodnotí systém benefitů ve firmě. Z průzkumu vyplývá, že oslovení pracovníci nejsou spokojeni se systémem benefitů, který neodpovídá jejich potřebám. Benefity považují respondenti za významné, jejich nabídka má vliv na jejich setrvání ve firmě, i když z hlediska pracovní motivace jsou pro ně důležité i jiné faktory, jako např. pracovní klima či osobnost manažera. Součástí práce je navržení doporučení k realizaci možných změn ve firmě Infosys. Klíčová slova: benefity, manažer, motivace, odměna, potřeby, pracovník.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of employee motivation. The first three chapters characterize the phenomenon of motivation, its importance for work performance and the approach to motivation in the work area. Possibilities of employee motivation are mentioned, the emphasis is on rewards, especially benefits. The practical part describes the quantitative survey carried out at the company Infosys, whose aim was to find out what factors are the most motivating for employees in connection with the performance of their job position, with regard to the system of benefits in the company. The partial goal was to find out how the employees of the selected company evaluate the system of benefits in the company. The survey shows that the addressed workers are not satisfied with the benefits system that does not meet their needs. The respondents consider the benefits important, their offer influences their stay in the company, although other factors such as the working climate or the manager's personality are also important for them in terms of work motivation. Part of the work is to propose recommendations for the implementation of possible changes in Infosys. Key words: benefits, employee, manager, motivation, needs, reward.
