Intelligent process automation in XYZ

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tématem inteligentní automatizace procesů ve Firmě XYZ. V současné době, když se svět prudce mění, se stává těžší sledovat moderní trendy ve sféře informačních technologií, proto je daná práce věnována řešení jednoho z nejsložitějších problémů při implementaci nové technologie. Hlavním cílem této práce je navrhnout případy užití inteligentní automatizace, které by byly v kontextu současné situace ve firmě XYZ vhodné a relevantní. Za účelem splnění vytyčených cílů se pravidelně sjednávaly schůzky se zaměstnanci XYZ, od nichž se zjišťovala současná situace ve firmě a odkaz na neveřejnou znalostní bázi pro samostatné prostudování. První část práce se věnuje obecné teorii o inteligentní automatizaci procesů. Pro lepší pochopení dané technologie jsou v rámci této části popsány komponenty IPA, jejich přínosy i rizika. V této části lze najít i odpověď na otázku ohledně automatizovatelnosti procesů. Druhá část práce se více věnuje firmě XYZ, popisuje její současnou situaci, stávající postupy pro automatizaci procesů. Navazuje na to odůvodnění, proč by XYZ měla IPA zavést, problematika zavedení i případy užití IPA v bankovním sektoru, které byly představeny vedoucímu oddělení umělé inteligence. V závěru práce jsou představeny výsledky prezentovaných případů užití i zpětná vazba poskytnutá pracovníky firmy.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis is dealing with the topic of intelligent process automation in XYZ firm. Nowadays, as the world changes rapidly, it becomes more difficult to follow modern trends in the field of information technology, therefore this work is devoted to solving one of the most difficult problems in the implementation of new technology. The main goal of this work is to offer Use cases of intelligent automation, which would be appropriate and relevant in the context of the current situation in XYZ. To accomplish a goal, there were regularly arranged meetings with employees from XYZ, from which the current situation in the bank and reference to non-public knowledge base for the independent study were ascertained. The first part of the work is devoted to the general theory of intelligent process automation. To better understand the technology, this section describes the components of IPA, its benefits, and its risks. The given part will also answer the question of the possibility of process automation. The second part of the work is more devoted to XYZ, describing its current situation and existing procedures for process automation. This is followed by a justification for why XYZ should implement IPA, the issues of implementation, and use cases of IPA in the banking sector, which were introduced to the head of the artificial intelligence department. At the end of the work are the results of the presentation of use cases and feedback from the bank's staff.
