Ida Kelarová - Looking for and finding romani base

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá hledáním a nalézáním kořenů Idy Kelarové. Je koncipována do třech oddílů, z nichž první se zaměřuje na romské etnikum, tedy na jeho vymezení z hlediska historie, kultury a snaží se osvětlit charakteristické prvky romství. Druhý oddíl se již zabývá osobností Idy Kelarové a to jak z pohledu uměleckého a pedagogického, tak z pohledu její příslušnosti k romskému etniku. Jednotlivé kapitoly této části se tedy snaží mapovat její životní i uměleckou dráhu. Poslední oddíl je zaměřen na hledání prvků romství v tvorbě Idy Kelarové. Jedná se o syntézu vlivů zkoumaných v předešlých dvou oddílech, které se odráží v uměleckém profilu Idy Kelarové a vytváří tím specifický a osobitý hudební projev, jenž nese prvky kosmopolitní interpretace romské hudby.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the searching and finding the Romany roots of Ida Kelarová. It comprises of three sections. First section is dealing with the Romany ethnic group ? how it is determined from the historical and cultural viewpoint, and describes the specific traits of the Romany ethnicity. The second section focuses on the Ida Kelarová personality, both as the artist and the teacher, as well as regarding her belonging to the Romany ethnicity. The individual chapters aim to map her life and artistic career. The last section is entirely focused on searching the Romany traits in the works of Ida Kelarová. It is the fusion of influences examined in two previous sections, which is reflected in the artistic profile of Ida Kelarová, and results in the specific and distinctive artistic style with the elements of cosmopolitan interpretation of Romany music.
