Cryptocurrency Taxation in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Práce je zaměřena na zdanění příjmů z kryptoměn. Cílem je osvětlit problematiku jejich zdanění. V teoretické části bakalářské práce jsou nejprve kryptoměny charakterizovány a systematicky roztřízeny, dále jsou popsány ve vztahu k dani z příjmu a dani z přidané hodnoty. V další části práce se nachází popis jednotlivých situací, při kterých dochází ke vzniku zdanitelných plnění při manipulaci skryptoměnami. V bakalářské práci jsou také navrženy možnosti daňové optimalizace pří výpočtu daňové povinnosti. V závěrečné části jsou uvedeny příklady výpočtů daňové povinnosti. Veškeré údaje jsou vyhodnoceny v souladu s platnou legislativou.

Abstract:

Thesis is focused to the taxation of the cryptocurrencies. The aim is to shed light on the issue of their taxation. In the theoretical part of the bachelor thesis, cryptocurrencies are first characterized and systematically classified, then they are described in relation to income tax and value added tax. In the next part of the work there is a description of individual situations in which taxable transactions occur during the handling of cryptocurrencies. The bachelor's thesis also proposes the possibilities of tax optimization in the calculation of tax liability. The final part contains examples of tax liability calculations. All data are evaluated in accordance with applicable legislation.
