Většina solidních tumorů, včetně spinocelulárních karcinomů v oblasti hlavy a krku (HNSCC), se vyznačuje vysokou úrovní intratumorální metabolické heterogenity a v důsledku i rozdíly v odpovědi na léčbu. The majority of solid tumors, including head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC), display a high level of intratumoral metabolic heterogeneity and consequently also variance in the response to therapy.
