Cílem práce je analyzovat možnost existence politického cyklu ve vybraných zemích EU. The aim of my diploma thesis is to analyse the posibility of existence of a political cycle in the selected european countries (Ireland and Germany). The work describes the various theories of the political cycle. I try to prove the existence of political cycle by analysing of political and economical data (inflation rate and unemployment rate).
