Formation of Budget in Banks

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce, která nese název “Tvorba rozpočtu obchodní banky”, je zaměřena na popis a analýzu procesu tvorby rozpočtu obchodních bank. Lze říci, že práce je rozdělena do tří souvisejícíh a navazujících částí. Dozvíme se, jak je tvořena organizační struktura banky v úzké souvislosti s rozpočtem banky. Jak s organizační strukturou a tvorbou rozpočtu souvísí hospodářská střediska a vybrané útvary banky. Dále se práce věnuje samotné teorii rozpočtu, druzích rozpočtů a základních principech rozpočtu obchodních bank a jeho spojitosti s plánováním. Třetí část práce navazuje na předchozí části praktickou analýzou a popisem cyklu tvorby rozpočtu. Zde se práce zabývá jaké techniky a přístupy jsou při tvorbě rozpočtu používány a také jaké nákladové a výnosové položky tvoří strukturu rozpočtu. Práce konči praktickými tématy spojenými se sestavováním rozpočtu jako jsou například problémy a cykly spojené s rozpočtovým procesem v praxi.

Abstract:

This dissertation which is entitled "Creating a budget of commercial bank" is focused on the description and analysis of the budgetary process of commercial banks. We can say that the work is divided into three related and connected parts. We will learn how is organizational structure in banks made up, in close connection with the bank's budget. Also how is the organizational structure and budgeting related with economic centers and selected units of the bank. Furthermore, the work concentrates on the theory of the budget, types of budgets and basic principles of budgets in commercial bank and its association with planning. The third part builds on the previous section, practical analysis and description of the budgeting cycle. The work here deals with examples of techniques and approaches which are used in the preparation of the budget and also the cost and revenue items form the structure of the budget. The work ends with practical issues related to budgeting issues such as cycles and the budgetary process in practice.
