Abstract:

Pro pochopení dějů uvnitř parenchymatózních orgánů hraje důležitou roli prokvení. Tato práce je věnována tvorbě geometrických modelů těchto orgánů a jejich cévní struktury s~ohledem na modelování jejich prokvení. Navržena je metoda pro lokalizaci parenchymů v~obrazech z~trojrozměrných zobrazovacích metod. Nejprve je přibližně určena poloha parenchymu vzhledem k~významným anatomickým strukturám těla. Jemná segmentace pak rozšiřuje metodu Graph-Cut a pracuje na více měřítkách. To umožňuje snížit výpočetní nároky pro rozměrná vstupní data. Dále je popsána metoda extrakce zjednodušeného modelu cévního stromu. Tento strom pak slouží pro modelování prokrvení. Byla navržena poloautomatická metoda pro kvantitativní popis mikrostruktury parenchymů. Jejím prostřednictvím lze při hodnocení mikrokorozivních preparátů parenchymatózních orgánů získávat výsledky srovnatelné s~běžnými manuálními stereologickými metodami.

Abstract:

Blood flow is important for understanding the processes inside parenchymatous organs. The main goal of this thesis is the creation of geometric models of these organs and their blood-vessel structure with respect to the modeling of blood flow. We introduce a method for parenchyma localization in 3D medical imaging data. First a coarse localization is expressed via relative positions to significant anatomical structures of a body. Then an accurate segmentation method which extends Graph-Cut and works on multiple scales is applied. This allows to reduce computational requirements for large input data. Next, a method for extraction of a simplified model of a vascular tree is used. From this tree a blood flow is modeled. We also introduce a semi-automatic method for quantitative description of parenchyma microstructure. Experiments have shown that our semi-automatic method for quantitative description of micro-corrosion casts is comparable to the conventional manual method.
