The share and influence of the Colombian drug industry on organized crime in the field of drugs

Abstract:

V práci jsou shrnuty základní informace týkající se dané problematiky. Teoretická část BP se zaměřuje na základní pojmy jako organizovaný zločin, kartel, označení narko. Významnou a největší část práce tvoří dva kolumbijské kartely, Medellínský kartel a kartel Cali, kde je například popisován vývoj obchodu s drogami, produkce drog, politické a sociální dopady na společnost, organizační struktura, způsob fungování těchto kartelů a konec jejich éry. V praktické části je použita metoda dotazníkového šetření s cílem zjistit rozdíl informovanosti mezi studenty na VOŠSP a VŠ Ambis, kde bylo dotazníkové šetření prováděno. Primárním cílem práce je podat ucelený informační základ o dané problematice a zjistit informovanost studentů na školách a jejich následné porovnání.

Abstract:

This thesis sums up basic information about this issue. In theoretical part thesis focuses on organized crime, cartel and means of „narco“ as a label. Most space is given to the two of Columbian cartels, which are „Medell“ and „Cali.“ Here, the development of drug business, drug production and its social and political impacts on the society, alongside with structure, methods of funding and end of cartel era, are described. Second part of this thesis consist of questionnaire survey among students of VOŠSP and VŠ Ambis. Survey investigates differences between knowledge of students. Primary aim of this thesis is to serve as compacted informational fundament about the problems. It also detects foreknowledge of high school and university students and, consequently, it compares them.
