Tato práce je výhradně o alkoholu a jeho užívání v Jordánsku. Jsou zde obecně informace, jak o Jordánsku, tak o alkoholu pro lepší pochopení kontextu. Jelikož hlavním tématem je sociokulturní vnímání alkoholu, tak zde jsou obsaženy demografické informace, alkohol z pohledu různých náboženství nebo jordánského zákona.
