The process of mourning

Abstract:

Diplomová práce s názvem proces truchlení je rozdělena na teoretickou část a výzkumnou část. Teoretická část diplomové práce se zabývá smrtí a pohledu na smrt z různých hledisek. Dalším tématem je umírání včetně jeho modelů a fází. Stěžejní téma teoretické části je truchlení se zaměřením na faktory, které jej ovlivňují. Závěr teoretické části se věnuje poradenské pomoci pro pozůstalé. Výzkumná část, pojatá jako kvalitativní výzkum, vychází z rozhovorů s jedenácti pozůstalými, kteří popisují vlastní proces truchlení. Na základě analýzy těchto rozhovorů jsou zodpovězeny výzkumné otázky, které se týkají faktorů ovlivňující truchlení a toho, jak pozůstalí zpětně vnímají proces truchlení.

Abstract:

A dissertation entitled "The Process of Mourning" is divided into a theoretical and research section. The theoretical section of the dissertation deals with death and looking at death from different perspectives. Another theme is dying including its models and phases. A crucial theme of the theoretical section is mourning and focusing on factors that affect it. Conclusion of the theoretical section is dedicated to counseling assistance for survivors. The research section of the dissertation, conceived as qualitative research, is based on interviews with eleven survivors who describe own grieving process. Based on an analysis of those interviews are research questions answered, which are related to factors affecting mourning and of that how survivors retroactively sense the mourning process.
