Hematopoietic niche during ontogenesis

Abstract:

Hematopoéza v průběhu vývoje probíhá v různých hematopoetických orgánech (žloutkový váček, oblast aorty, gonád a mesonefros, fetální játra, brzlík, slezina, placenta a kostní dřeň). Každý hematopoetický orgán tvoří pro hematopoetické kmenové buňky unikátní mikroprostředí (niche). V niche se nacházejí buňky, které podporují aktivitu nebo klidový stav hematopoetických kmenových buněk poskytnutím buněčného povrchu a/nebo expresí faktorů. Charakterizace tohoto specifického mikroprostředí je důležitá pro správné pochopení fyziologických pochodů kmenových buněk. V této práci tedy shrnu dosavadní poznatky o niche hematopoetických buněk v průběhu ontogenetického vývoje.

Abstract:

Hematopoiesis takes place in various hematopoietic organs (yolk sac, aorta, gonads, mesonefros region, fetal liver, thymus, spleen, placenta and bone marrow). Every hematopoietic organ forms microenviroment (niche) suitable for hematopoietic stem cells. In niche there are cells that support activity or quiescent stage of hematopoietic stem cells by supplying them with expression factors and/or cell matrices. Chrakterization of this specific niche is important for a right understanding of physiological processes of the stem cells. In this bachelor thesis I compile some actual knowledge about niche of hematopoietic cells during ontogenetis.
