Analysis of tensile properties of motorcycle chains

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Analýza tahových vlastností motocyklových řetězů obsahuje v teoretické části popis mechanických převodů a zaměřuje se hlavně na řetězové převody. V praktické části je měřena statická pevnost řetězu a následné vyhodnocení na základě naměřených dat. Měřením budou podrobeny řetězy s označením 086-1, v různých stádiích provozní degradace. Porovnáván bude nový řetěz s řetězy, které mají nájezd 5000 km a byly použity na motocyklech, které jezdily v běžném provozu, nebo na motocyklu užívaném pro závodní účely. Cílem práce je zjištění rozdílu mechanické únosnosti testovaných řetězů a porovnání naměřených dat.

Abstract:

Thesis Analysis of tensile properties of motorcycle chains contains in the theoretical part a description of mechanical transmissions and focuses mainly on chain transmissions. In the practical part, the static strength of the chain is measured and the subsequent evaluation is based on the measured data. Chains marked 086-1 will be subjected to measurements at various stages of operational degradation. The new chain will be compared with chains that have a range of 5,000 km and have been used on motorcycles that have been driven in normal traffic or on a motorcycle used for racing purposes. The aim of the work is to determine the difference between the mechanical load capacity of the tested chains and to compare the measured data.
