Negative pressure in therapy non-healing injuries

Abstract:

Cíl: Cílem bakalářské práce bylo přiblížit problematiku podtlakové terapie a zjistit její vliv v procesu hojení nehojících se ran. Dále posoudit jestli urychluje hojení nehojících se ran, zda je podtlaková terapie v hojení chronických ran lepší než běžná léčba a jakým způsobem podtlaková terapie ovlivňuje hojení nehojících se ran. Metody: Práce byla vypracována podle doporučené struktury přehledové práce dle strategie PRISMA. Byly vyhledávány záznamy ve vědeckých databázích Academic Search Complete, BioMed Central, CINAHL Plus with Full Text, MEDLINE Complete, PubMed, SCIENCE DIRECT, WEB OF SCIENCE a Wiley Library Online. Vyhledávání v databázích bylo provedeno za použití kombinací klíčových slov v českém a anglickém jazyce, které byly kombinovány pomocí Booleovských operátorů AND a OR. Byly vyhledávány záznamy publikované od roku 2006 do roku 2016 v plných textech v českém, anglické a slovenském jazyce. Výsledky: Bylo nalezeno 27 článků, které se vztahovali k tématu negativní podtlaková terapie a nehojící se rány. Několik záznamů se rozchází v tom, jestli je negativní podtlaková léčba lepší než běžně používané metody hojení nehojících se ran. Potvrzují, že negativní podtlaková terapie urychluje dobu hojení, snižuje velikost povrchu rány a stimuluje růst granulační tkáně. Závěr: Články se jednoznačně neshodují, jestli je negativní podtlaková terapie v hojení nehojící se ran lepší než běžně používaná léčba. Ale většina záznamů potvrzuje, že negativní podtlaková terapie má pozitivní vliv na hojení nehojících se ran a urychluje jejich hojení.

Abstract:

Background: The target of this bachelor thesis was to issue negative pressure therapy and to determine its effect on the healing process non-healing wounds. To further evaluate whether accelerates the healing of non-healing wounds, whether vacuum therapy in healing of non-healing wounds better than the standard treatment and how vacuum therapy affects the healing of non-healing wounds. Methods: This bachelor thesis was developed under the recommended structure overview work by PRISMA strategy. Entries were searched scientific databases Academic Search Complete, BioMed Central, CINAHL Plus with Full Text, MEDLINE Complete, PubMed, SCIENCE DIRECT, WEB OF SCIENCE and Wiley Library Online. Search in databases was performed using a combination of key words in Czech and English language, which were combined by Boolean operators AND and OR. They were searched entries published from 2006 to 2016 in full text in Czech, English and Slovak language. Results: It was founded 27 articles that were related to the topic of negative vacuum therapy and non-healing wounds. Several entries diverge on whether it is negative vacuum treatment better than a commonly used methods of healing of non-healing wounds. They confirm that the negative vacuum therapy accelerates the healing time, reduces the size of the wound surface and stimulates the growth of granulation tissue. Conclusions: Articles unambiguously disagree if negative vacuum therapy in healing of non-healing wounds better than conventional treatment. But most of the entries confirms that negative vacuum therapy has a positive effect on the healing of non-healing wounds and speeds healing.
