Diplomová práce rozebírá problematiku školní zralosti, školní připravenosti a odložení školní docházky. Teoretická část se zabývá otázkami současné mateřské školy, charakteristikou předškolního věku a zaměřuje se na vymezení pojmů, které souvisí s nástupem dítěte do základní školy.
