Grinding of tough metal alloys

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá stanovením mlecích podmínek pro mletí houževnatých kovových slitin (konkrétně CuNi a CoCr) především na závislosti doby mletí. Počáteční hodnoty budou převzaty z předchozího výzkumu za účelem ověření chování slitin za delšího mletí a stanovení distribuční velikosti v závislosti na čase. Tyto podmínky budou navazovat na výzkum mletí CuNi a mletí kovových slitin, které uvádí Ing. Martin Jaskevič ve své diplomové práci. [1] Proces mletí se provádí za pomoci kulových planetových mlýnů. V teoretické části jsou popisovány obecné metody a principy rozmělňování částic, výrobní zařízení, vlastnosti slitin, způsoby rozlišování částic dle velikosti frakce, vyhodnocování a měření velikosti frakce a morfologie zrn. Experimentální část se zaměřuje na rozmělňování částic z daných slitin a definování optimálních vstupních parametrů mletí pro mletí v mlecím zařízení. Vzorky jsou analyzovány pomocí skenovacího elektronového mikroskopu (SEM). Výsledky byly zaznamenány do grafu pro snazší porovnání.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with setting grinding conditions for grinding tough metal alloys (specifically CuNi and CoCr) mainly on the dependence of grinding time on grain size. The initial conditions will be used already selected from previous research to verify the behavior of alloys during longer grinding. These conditions will follow the research of CuNi grinding and metal alloy grinding, which is presented by Ing. Martin Jaskevič in his diploma thesis.[1] The grinding process is carried out with the help of spherical planetary mills. The theoretical part describes general methods and principles of particle pulverization, production equipment, properties of alloys, ways of distinguishing particles according to the size of the fraction, evaluation and measurement of fraction size and grain morphology. The experimental part focuses on the pulverization of particles from the given alloys and the definition of optimal grinding input parameters for grinding in the grinding equipment. The samples are analyzed using a scanning electron microscope (SEM), the morphology of the grains and composition are evaluated. The results were recorded in a graph for easier comparison.
