Abstract:

Cieľom diplomovej práce "Hospodárske využitie vesmírnych telies do roku 2030" je zhodnotiť jasnú odpoveď na otázku: "Je využitie nebeských telies do konca roka 2030 ekonomicky uskutočniteľné?" Prvá časť je zameraná na popis pozadia hospodárskeho využitia vesmírnych telies. Druhá časť stručne analyzuje aktuálnu situáciu na trhu komodít a súčasný stav zdrojov. V tretej časti však predstavím teoretickú časť, vrátane matematických modelov, ktoré posudzujú rôzne vstupy a ziskovosť z predpokladanej ťažby vesmírnych telies. Výsledok práce bude zhodnotený v poslednej kapitole.

Abstract:

The goal of the submitted thesis “Economic challenges of exploitation of celestial bodies by 2030” is to evaluate straightforward answer to the research question: “Is the exploitation of celestial bodies by the end of the year 2030 economically feasible?” The first part is concentrated on describing the background of exploitation of celestial bodies. The second part briefly analyzes the actual situation on the Earth’s commodity market and the current state of resource. In the third part however, I present the theoretical model, including the mathematical simulations assessing various inputs and profitability of assumed celestial mining industry. The conclusion of the thesis query shall be evaluated in the last chapter.
