Abstract:

Práce je studií přínosu evoluční teorie pro moderní teorie mezinárodních vztahů. Zaměřuje se neorealistickou, konstruktivistickou a kritickou školu myšlení a vysvětlení příčin válek v rámci nich. Jednotlivé přístupy jsou po začlenění evolučních principů či jejich zdůraznění aplikovány na konflikty v prostoru bývalé Jugoslávie na počátku 90. let 20. století a je zhodnocen přínos těchto principů pro vysvětlovací hodnotu teorií.

Abstract:

This thesis is a study of the possible contribution of evolutionary theories to modern theories of international relations. It focuses on neorealist, constructivist and critical school of thinking and on the explanation of causes leading to war in particular. Individual approaches are - after incorporating the evolutionary principles or accentuating them – applied to the conflicts in the area of former Yugoslavia in the 90s. There any possible gains with relation to the explaining value of these theories are evaluated.
