Abstract:

Tato magisterská diplomová práce si klade za cíl porovnat dva různé typy korektivní zpětné vazby, přímou a nepřímou, posoudit efektivitu využití nepřímé korektivní zpětné vazby v psaní a prozkoumat preference a vnímání této formy zpětné vazby středoškolskými studenty. Teoretická část se zaměřuje na chyby v osvojování cizího jazyka, různé pohledy na ně, výuku psaného projevu a zároveň uvádí a definuje klíčové pojmy. Empirická část představuje smíšenou metodologii použitou v tomto výzkumu, a to konkrétně analýzu esejí, dotazníků a skupinových rozhovorů.

Abstract:

This master’s diploma thesis aims to compare two different types of corrective feedback, direct and indirect, assess the effectiveness of indirect corrective feedback on writing, and investigate secondary school students’ preferences for and perceptions of it. The theoretical part focuses on errors in foreign language acquisition, different perspectives on them, teaching writing, and introduces and defines key terms. The empirical part presents mixed methodology applied in this research study; the analysis of students’ essays, questionnaires and focus group interviews.
