Possibilities and limits of postpenitenciary care in the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce Možnosti a limity postpenitenciární péče v ČR se zabývá jak penitenciární péčí v průběhu výkonu trestu, během něhož pracují s odsouzenými sociální pracovníci a další zaměstnanci vězeňské služby ve snaze odsouzené resocializovat a připravit je tak na návrat a začlenění do normálního života, tak programy zacházení a navazující postpenitenciární péčí a jejím postavení v ČR. Důležitá je především návaznost postpenitenciární péče na péči penitenciární, po propuštění z výkonu trestu mají odsouzení možnost vyhledat státní i nestátní organizace, kde jim mohou pracovníci individuálně pomoci, bohužel však, vzhledem ke špatné informovanosti je pro většinu odsouzených tato forma pomoci neúčinná a často se tak velmi záhy vracejí zpět do nápravných zařízení. Proto je součástí této práce zjištění, jak nahlížejí bývalí odsouzení na činnost a kvalitu služeb postpenitenciární péče a v čem by měla být dle jejich názoru tato péče jiná a co by případně měla obsahovat.

It is therefore part of this work to find out how the former convictions of the activity and the quality of the post-penitentiary care services are seen and in which they think such care should be different and what they should contain.
