Utilization of South Moravian Integrated Public Transport System

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá intenzitou využívání Integrovaného dopravního systému v Jihomoravském kraji. V práci nejprve osvětlím historii dopravy v Jihomoravském kraji, popíši vývoj IDS v České republice a porovnám přepravní a tarifní podmínky různých druhů doprav. Dále analyzuji požadavky cestujících, které jsem zjistila pomocí dotazníku, a navrhnu možná zlepšení. Cílem práce je zhodnocení efektivity využití Integrovaného dopravního systému a návrh řešení případných problémů.

Abstract:

The bachelor thesis concerns on the intensity of the Integrated Public Transport System utilization in the South Moravian Region. Through the history of public transport, I depict the development of the integration in public transportation in the Czech Republic. Consequently, I compare transport specifications and tariffs of all kinds of transport. Further I analyze passengers' requirements acquired in the questionnaire and suggest possible improvements. The thesis objective is to evaluate the Integrated Public Transport System efficiency and to recommend some solutions to eventual problems.
