Abstract:
This thesis deals with German idioms of ancient origin and their Czech equivalents. All the idioms are illustrated with example texts from COSMAS II-corpus (Institute for the German Language, Mannheim, Germany). Tato diplomová práce se zabývá německými frazeologismy antického původu a jejich českými ekvivalenty. Všechny frazémy jsou doloženy příkladovými texty z COSMAS II-korpusu (Institut pro německý jazyk, Mannheim, Německo). Teoretickou část tvoří úvod do problematiky frazeologie.
