Synthetic bactobolins having modified diol functionality

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá přípravou modifikovaných analogů aktinobolinu, sloučeniny s antibakteriálními vlastnostmi patřící do větší skupiny přírodních produktů zvaných baktoboliny. V teoretické části je uveden stručný přehled antibi-otik a antibiotické rezistence a informace o biologické aktivitě baktobolinů. Část Výsledky a diskuse je zaměřena na enantioselektivní syntézu tří chirálních stavebních bloků a pokusy o jejich začlenění do nových plně syntetických analogů aktinobolinu. Experimentální část zahrnuje charakterizaci všech syntetizovaných sloučenin (NMR, IR, MS) a podrobné experimentální procedury. Součástí práce jsou také kopie NMR spekter.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis deals with the preparation of modified analogs of actinobolin, a compound with antibacterial properties belonging to a larger group of natural products called bactobolins. The theoretical part provides a short summary of anti-biotics and antibiotic resistance, as well as information about the biological activity of bactobolins. The part Results and discussion focuses on the enantioselective syn-thesis of three chiral building blocks and attempts to incorporate these into new fully synthetic analogs of actinobolin. The experimental part includes the characteri-zation of all synthesized compounds (NMR, IR, MS) and detailed experimental pro-cedures. Copies of NMR spectra are also included in this thesis.
