Optimization of recruitment strategies in a dynamic labor market: analysis and comparative study of recruitment methods in Czech Republic

Abstract:

This thesis explores the optimization of recruitment strategies in the Czech Republic's labor market. It analyzes modern methods, evaluates their effectiveness, and develops recommendations to improve hiring in a context of low unemployment and high competition for skilled professionals. The research combines theoretical analysis, HR professional surveys, interviews with HR managers, and SWOT analysis, along with quantitative methods like statistical analysis and Multi-Criteria Decision Analysis (MCDA). The study finds that traditional methods (print media, job fairs, agencies) remain effective for local hiring but are less relevant due to high costs and slow pace. Modern methods (online portals, social media, online interviews) dominate due to speed and cost-effectiveness, though challenges like digital divides exist. Innovative methods (Big Data, AI) offer high precision but are limited by costs and technical requirements. Regional disparities are noted, with some areas facing labor shortages and others higher unemployment rates. The study concludes that a hybrid approach integrating traditional, modern, and innovative methods is optimal, with a focus on reducing costs and improving candidate quality. It also emphasizes the role of public policy in addressing labor market imbalances and supporting migrant integration.
