Overexpression and silencing of cytokinin dehydrogenase genes in barley.
Abstract:
The main aim of this work was preparation of transgenic barley plants with overexpressed and silenced CKX genes, coding of an enzymes cytokinin dehydrogenase. Cytokinin dehydrogenase catalyses the irreversible degradation of plants hormones cytokinins. Abstract:
Hlavním cílem této práce byla příprava a následná analýza transgenních rostlin ječmene s overexprimovanými a umlčenými CKX geny, kódující enzymy cytokinindehydrogenasy. Hlavní funkce těchto enzymů je ireverzibilní degradace cytokininů. Genetická manipulace s těmito geny v cílených orgánech může pozitivně ovlivnit růst kořenů, produkci klasů či hmotnost zrn.
